Greensolver provided expert feedback on 119.5 MW of French wind assets.

Greensolver, the independent technical expert for wind & solar assets, was selected by Canadian renewable energy producer Innergex to provide due diligence advisory work on one of the largest under-construction portfolio in France.

The transaction involved a portfolio of three wind farms, made of 43 GE turbines, totaling 119.5 MW, all located in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of France.

Greensolver’s role consisted of performing a technical due diligence of the projects, including an in-depth analysis of the main contracts (Turbine Supply Agreement; Balance of Plant; Operation & Maintenance; Technical & Commercial Management) in order to identify potential risks and provide Innergex with the necessary comfort to conclude the transaction.

“It is already our fourth collaboration with Innergex and we are very happy that Innergex has once again placed their trust in us to perform the technical due diligence of this important acquisition. Through this kind of work, not only are we able to demonstrate our ability to perform a job meeting short deadlines; but also, to demonstrate our expertise and deep understanding of the French market and its regulations.” comments Guy Auger, Greensolver CEO.

Innergex and Desjardins Group Pension Plan have recently announced a successful acquisition agreement made possible through English investment bank Augusta & Co.

With more than 9 GW of advisory work performed since 2008, Greensolver has significantly strengthened its expert position on the international market, providing expert feedback on renewable energy projects to investments funds, banks and developers, worldwide.
