Greensolver to advise ib vogt on HSE on 9.3 MWp Geldermalsen project.
Greensolver, the independent technical expert for wind & solar assets, has been selected by German solar EPC and expert, ib vogt to advise their team on Health & Safety topics.
First of several projects to be built by ib vogt, the 9.3 MWp solar farm is located on a 10+-hectare landfill near Geldermalsen (Gelderland), alongside A15 motorway in the Netherlands. Commissioned by Avri Solar, who owns the project, ib vogt will deliver its expertise on design, construction management and maintenance.
Health & Safety being a growing issue when building renewable assets, it is now mandatory for developers and construction managers to call-in independent experts able to secure those aspects in their projects and provide them with suitable risk management systems.
“The Netherlands is a strategic and core market onto which we are looking to extend our presence in the coming years. If we want it to be a success, we need, for each project, to team-up with partners who benefits from a proven experience on the market, and in this particular case, a proven experience on Dutch HSEQ regulation. Greensolver was therefore our first choice.
Moreover, we pride ourselves to build renewable assets with state of the art manners, promoting on-site safety. By partnering with Greensolver, we ensure to 1. benefit from the best quality of service available on the market and 2. collaborate with a partner who shares the same vision of excellence that we have.” Comments Anton Milner, CEO, ib vogt.
In line with ib vogt´s construction spirit, Greensolver’s team of experts will deliver during the whole duration of the construction, an HSE management system specifically designed for the Dutch market. HSE management plan will thus include an emergency response plan, site rules and site induction, ensuring ib vogt their solar farm is built-up in line with Dutch regulations.
“With the Dutch market looking to reach 14% of electricity production coming from renewables by 2020, construction of renewable energy assets such as wind or solar farms, should accelerate in the coming years.
We are glad to have been retained by ib vogt to provide them with HSE advisory work. Indeed, through our ISO certification and expertise as wind & solar asset managers, we are in a position to deliver an expert and unbiased service to the industry. Not only will ib vogt projects be built-up in line with regulation but also in line with international standards, making – their first Dutch project an example.” Commented Alexander Harssema, Partner at Greensolver.
